I got really into the part.

Somerville Dog Festival 2011

The Somerville Dog Festival was this past weekend.
It was pretty fun. I wasn't as involved as last year. I didn't compete or do any of the demonstrations and Asoka didn't come. I was just there to have fun like all the dogs. I did try out sled pulling and that was surprisingly fun! I hope Joe and Julia get me a sled this winter so I can drag them around in it. All in all the festival was fun and I can't wait until years! I even wore the Somerville Dog Festival webcam for a while for a 'Roscoe's eye view' of the festivities. It's supposed to on the internets somewhere, but I can't find it. I'll update this post when I do.

Dog Paradise

First I would like to list the essential qualities of a Dog Paradise.

1. Leash free. I must be free to run like the wind.
2. Open fields.
3. Woods.
4. Swimmable water feature.
5. Big rocks.
6. Small animals for chasing. Preferably bunnies.
7. Other dogs for butt sniffing.

Two of my recent adventures have been to Dog paradise.

First, Me and my girl Asoka went to Stodder's Neck in Hingham, MA. It was AWESOME. So much to sniff with so little time.

Then, Julia took me to Great Brook Farm in Carlisle, MA. This place had everything with the addition of goats and several randomly place equestrian jumps. They also had horses walking around on the trails which was a little scary.

Doggie Pool

Last week when it was really HOT, Joe thought we might like it if he made us a little doggie-pool on the back porch.

We didn't.

This pool is NOT fun.

Cleaning up.

Joe says I'm kind of a slob. I guess it's true. I don't see any point in cleaning up my toys since I'm just gonna take them out to play with again later.
Besides, if they aren't spread out all over the place, then how do I what I've got???
But Joe wants me to start cleaning up after myself, so he's been teaching how to do it.

I think it liked me. I stayed very very very still so I wouldn't scare it, and it kept coming up and sniffing my nose. I loved it!

Balloons are awesome!

Joe blew up a balloon the other day. Me and Asoka had know idea what it was.
Asoka was a little scared of it. Well, she was a lot scared really. At first Joe was making it make funny noises. That was interesting, but not that exciting. Then he let go of it and somehow it turned into a bird!
It was awesome!!!! Once I caught it, it turned back into a balloon but it was all flat and boring.
Every now and again Joe pulls it and turns it into a bird again. It's probably the best game ever!

Spring

It's finally warming up. The sun is shining. The snow is gone. It's awesome.
